This was a rooster that didn't want me to take his photo. He was quite aggressive attacking my pants several times. I guess he was just a little 'territorial'. Around our house you will find roosters all over the place. Some ceramic ones, roosters in wallpaper borders, and metal ones in our garden. I don't know why my wife has a this thing for roosters.

My Mom used to collect chickens for her kitchen - she has some cute ones.
I like roosters, too. Well, truth be known I also like hens. I just like chickens! You captured this Ruby Tuesday Rooster really well. He's quite a specimen.

Great shot. I like the light, but also you really seem to have caught a sense of his personality. Who knew roosters were so photogenic? Also, your banner photo is simply awesome.
I love the composition of this -- and what a brave soul you are to keep trying while being attacked! I posted a rooster last Tuesday. He was much more cooperative but not as photogenic.
This is a great shot of the rooster. Not only is his comb red, but his neck feathers are that coppery red color that I love so much.

Great photo of this rooster. Coincidentally I was at someone's house yesterday and in the kitchen I was surrounded by all things rooster. She said her mom collects roosters.
