F is for Fair. I chose this since we are currently enjoying our Oregon State fair through September 1st, Labor Day. State fairs have all the excitement depicted in the following photos. Not only are there rides, games, exhibits, but shows. This year we got to see Bill Engvall and Weird Al Yankovic in concert. Both shows were awesome and tremendously entertaining. Salem hosts the State Fair each year, and this years one did not disappoint.

Looks like you had lots of fun at the fair! Did you go on that crazy ride that looks like it goes round & round, & up'n'down, really fast???
I want to go to the PNE (Pacific National Exhibition) this year, but my back isn't in very good shape right now, waiting for surgery. Maybe next year. Apparently, it's changed a lot over the past years since I've been so I'd like to see it. Fairs are always so much FUN!
Wonderful. I'm glad you chose a fair for F! We moved our family to Washington State from Southern California in 1988. Our kids are all adults now and living in Washington. My husband and I had to come back to Southern California for his job a couple years ago :0(
We'll be back in the Northwest in the future Lord willing...
Wow. Our Fair is over. Your fair looks like fun to me. We didn't go to our fair as neither one of us can stand the heat or walk very far. LOL
All the fun of the fair. Brilliant.
Oh how fun! I haven't been to a big state fair since I left Texas 20 years ago.
Darn it, now I really want some cotton candy!!!

Wow! Some fair I must say. I remember fairs as a child, endless rides on the waltzers, so many we felt sick..........then we did it all again! Oh to be young and foolish!
Oh man, Weird Al would have been something to see...
And I would have had to go kick one of those stilt guys in the shin... (always wanted to do that)
all the fun of the fair... although your son doesn't look like he's having much fun in that chair!
Long tall cowboy greeters.

Have fun - oh, I see that you do have! :-)
I love local and state fairs. The games, displays and food are my favourite. Like you, my husband left Southern California for the north and a different type of lifestyle. We chose Coastal BC. Today my contribution is about a special farm that used to located near my town in Coastal BC. I invite you to come see. -- Margy
